Melissa is a proud Nuyorican mom of three boys (ages 7, 15 & 16) who turns everyday moments into themed celebrations. With a background in television news production, she now channels her creativity into semi-homemade DIY projects, festive food ideas, and holiday traditions that bring her family together—whether they admit it or not. She’s currently navigating the overwhelming world of college searches with her oldest while juggling high school life and charter school adventures for her younger two. Melissa lives in Bedford Park and has been a lifelong Bronx resident, sprinkling a little “extra” magic into her home with love, laughter, and lots of decorations.

Carolynn S.

Carolynn is a mom of two toddler girls (15 months and 2.5 years old) and works on-call as a birth and postpartum doula. Before motherhood, she worked in the video game industry, and now loves exploring fun, free activities with her kids, plus art and movies.

Amarie is a Bronx-born single mom of two and a first-generation homeschooler, raising her family with intention while redefining what motherhood looks like across generations. Rooted in a lineage shaped by strong matriarchs and evolving expectations, she balances working from home, pursuing art, and homeschooling her teen—bringing both past and present into meaningful conversation. She shares reflections on the teen homeschooling years, co-parenting, caregiving, and intentional motherhood, along with everyday moments through photography, thoughtful quotes, and simple, nourishing recipes.

Patricia is a second generation Greek-American and first-time mom to a daughter born in August 2025. She is navigating new motherhood in her thirties while settling into life in the Bronx.
